At 8pm tonight, Thursday 11 February national judge Brian Leslie will be announcing the national winners of the Semex-Holstein Australia Virtual Holstein Spectacular on Facebook, with the
presentation available on YouTube tomorrow.
From the hundreds of entries received, the national champions in each class will be revealed – 90 animals across 5 classes with 51 breeders represented.
Holstein Australia has launched Verified Holsteins Online. Members or their agents can list animals, purchasers can browse all animals or search based on criteria including location, BPI and ABVs for selected traits.
Sixteen new Master Breeders recognised Over the last year Holstein Australia has awarded sixteen breeders Master Breeder status. The award recognises the long-term achievement of individuals and their families who have made a lasting contribution to the improvement of the Holstein breed, in many cases following a lifetime of dedication and commitment to the breed.
