Meet our UK Exchange winner

Amabel Grinter has been announced as the winner of the 2018 Holstein Australia Youth UK Exchange. Graeme Gillan, Holstein Australia CEO, says Amabel was the standout applicant from a very high quality field of candidates for this year’s Exchange. Amabel currently works on the family farm in Muckatah, Northern Vic, and is planning a career as a nutritionist in the dairy industry.

Top dairy genes in Western Vic

It’s official. Datagene has recognised Western Victoria as having some of the best dairy genes in the country, with Holstein Australia members Bryan and Jo Dickson (Emu Banks Holsteins) winning top Holstein herd in the Great South West Dairy Awards.

Thursday 16 August sees the 2nd stage complete milking dispersal of the renowned Willette & Foxdale Registered Holstein herds, with the Alison and Lila families featuring prominently. Sale takes place on farm at Tocumwal, NSW.
