Holstein genetic gain increase

The January proof release clearly shows an increased rate of genetic gain for the Holstein breed in Australia according to Holstein Australia's Rohan Butler. "In genetic terms if we are getting things right the newest generation of heifers should start to replace the older cows on our lists, which is happening. The real news though is the BPI gain across the board," says Rohan.

Easter date for Youth Camp

We are pleased to announce that the National Dairy Youth Camp 2019 will take place from 12th - 16th April in Sale, Victoria. Organised by Holstein Australia on behalf of the dairy industry, the all-breeds camp is open to 16 to 21 year olds. More news and the application form are available at the link below.
