From Appendix to elite animal

Numeralla Delta 1427 6160, owned by Liam Ryan, Numeralla Holsteins, tops the March list of 20 best young females with their first genomic breeding value, with another four Numeralla cows featuring on this list. At  number two on the new genomic females list is Emu Banks Chairman Jennifer 9710-ET, owned by Bryan and Jo Dickson, with a further six of their new heifers also appearing.

Farewell Amelia Park

Today marks the end of an era with the Amelia Park Master Breeders final dispersal sale. Over the last 25 years, Athol and Birute Hyland’s Amelia Park Holsteins has achieved 78 production awards and 17 lifetime production awards, attaining Master Breeder status in 2017. 44 years of registered Holstein breeding under the hammer
On Thursday 4th April 44 years of Holstein breeding will go under the hammer at Master Breeder, Panatana Holsteins, in Tasmania with the unreserved sale of 210 registered Holsteins.

Bouyant Boyanup Bull Sale
Australia’s longest running Holstein bull sale in Boyanup, WA, saw a clearance of 29 bulls, with top price of $7,000 and sale average of $4,796, plus local charity Autism West benefitting to the tune of $3,500 thanks Holstein Australia member Wayne Owston and Dusty the Red Bull.
